Brief Description

This book extends what had been written in many existing books about conceptual models, theories, and research methods by focusing on the relation between conceptual models, theories, and empirical research methods. Chapter 1 presents an oveview of conceptual models, theories, and research. Chapters 2 and 3 present frameworks for analyzing and evaluating conceptual-theoretical-empirical structures, respectively. Chapter 4 provides information about how to prepare integrative reviews of research findings. Chapter 5 presents an explanation of how to write research proposals and research reports. Each chapter includes many examples drawn from existing literature and diagrams that illustrate chapter content.
