The Nurse Theorist Video Series provides interviews by Jacqueline Fawcett and Martha Raile Alligood of many of nursing’s foundational theorists, preserving their voices and ideas. The Nurse Theorist Video Series: Portraits of Excellence comprises three volumes. In addition, there are three videos in the Nurse Theorists: Excellence in Action series.
These videos were transferred to nursology.net in December, 2023 by the producer of the videos – FITNE (Fuld Institute for Technology in Nursing Education). This transfer was made possible by the generous support of donors to Nursology.net. The interviews were conducted by Jacqueline Fawcett and by Martha Alligood, both of whom have provided for Nursology.net their recollections of the process:
- Jacqueline Fawcett “On the Making of the Nurse Theorist Videos Volume 1“.
- Martha Alligood “On the Making of the Nurse Theorist Videos Volume 2″.
- Martha Alligood “On the Making of the Nurse Theorist Videos Volume 3“
The videos are available to view from the list below, and by visiting the Nursology.net theory page for each of the theories. Links to the locations of each of the videos are provided in the Gallery of Nurse Theorists Featured in Videos Produced by FITNE The Index below also provides access to each of the videos.
