The detailed program for the 2025 Virtual Nursology Theory Conference is now available! This 5-day conference is planned for maximum participation starting on Thursday March 20th, continuing through the weekend, and ending on Monday March 24th! The program outline is developed to help you integrate opportunities to participate into your already busy schedule – you can pick and choose the sessions you want to attend, and adjust your own schedule to accommodate any conflicts. However, do consider clearing your schedule to participate as much as possible – this is a not-to-be-missed opportunity! We urge faculty, particularly those focusing on nursing knowledge development. (research and theory), to adjust your class activities to facilitate student participation. Many of the presenters during the conference are themselves engaged as students – their work represents the cutting edge for the development of nursing knowledge!

The theme for this year is Honoring Our Past and Moving Forward: Decolonizing Nursing Knowledge, and the presenters include nursologists from countries far and wide! The theme reflects our commitment to embracing our history while forging a path toward an inclusive future in nursing that embraces many ways of knowing and doing. The inspiration of the conference theme is based on Iheduru-Anderson and Waite’s paper published in 2024 (free to download through Feburary-March 2025) – Please download and read in advance!
