Theme – Caring: Essential Knowledge for Nursing Practice
Please join us on June 4-6 for the Anne Boykin Institute’s 2025 Summer Academy. The theme of this year’s Academy is Caring: Essential Knowledge for Nursing Practice. During our time together we will engage in creative and critical dialogue focused on the central place of caring within the professional discipline of nursing. We hope to inspire
reflections and actions on the importance of developing knowledge in Caring Science that informs and guides nursing practice in all areas. We will create plans to transform imagined possibilities to realities through concrete actions.
The Artist-in-Residence, Dr. Mary Packard, will write original poetry that reflects the insights shared during our dialogue.
You can join us onsite at Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing in Boca Raton, Florida OR virtually through Zoom.
