Updated Information on Two Grants Available from the Martha E. Rogers Scholars Fund

On behalf of my colleagues, Violet Malinski and Richard Cowling, I am posting this blog for any and all other colleagues who are interested in Martha E. Rogers’ Science of Unitary Human Beings.

The MER Scholars Fund is pleased to announce that the next deadline for application to the Martha E. Rogers Scholars Grant is April 1, 2026. Guidelines and application can be found here.

The purpose of the grant is to support research, evidence-based practice projects, or clinical projects based upon Rogers’ Science and projects that address continued testing, application, development, and impact of Rogers’ Science of Unitary Human Beings.

In a change from the past, this year the Fund will award a grant up to $5000 for one project.

The MER Scholars Fund is pleased to announce that the next deadline for application to the Elizabeth Ann Manhart Barrett Grant will be November 1, 2026.Guidelines and application can be found here. This grant is awarded by the Society of Rogerian Scholars (SRS) Martha E. Rogers Scholars Fund in memory of Elizabeth Ann Manhart Barrett, PhD, RN-BC, LMHC, FAAN, a co-founder and inaugural President of the SRS and co-founder MER Scholars Fund, nurse theorist, researcher, educator, and clinician. The MER Scholars Fund seeks proposals for the Elizabeth Ann Manhart Barrett Grant consistent with the following purpose: The purpose of the grant is

To support continued testing, application, evaluation of impact, and policy implications of Barrett’s Power as Knowing Participation in Change Theory. Guidelines and application can be found on the SRS website (societyofrogerianscholars.org).

Along with a change in application deadline this year the Fund will award a grant up to $5000 for one project.
