Nursing science is undergoing a profound and necessary transformation. As the profession responds to complex health, social, and technological challenges, theory continues to serve as a catalyst for progress. This special issue of Advances in Nursing Science, “Evolutions in Theory for Nursing Science,” brings together nineteen papers that illuminate the dynamic, pluralistic, and justice-oriented directions shaping contemporary theoretical work.
