Nursology.net is an independent project established in 2018, inspired by members of the American Academy of Nursing Theory-Guided Practice Expert Panel. The site was initially developed by Peggy Chinn and Jacqueline Fawcett, with contributions from a number of the members of the Expert Panel. Currently the Advisory Team provides oversight for the ongoing development of the site. The Site Management team does the hands-on work related to publication of blog posts and site content updating and ongoing development.

The Nursology.net Advisory Team oversees the development of content for the site, and provides assurance that we proceed in concert with our stated mission, goals, values and ethics. In addition, members of the Advisory Team contribute to the blog, and contribute to the content of various components of the site. View the Advisory Team Gallery to see the specific contributions that members of the team provide in the ongoing development of the site. The Advisory Team meets on video conference once a month.

Site Management

Nursology.net is hosted on WordPress.com, and was initially designed by Peggy Chinn. Peggy Chinn continues as the team leader, along with Jacqui Fawcett. Jennifer Stevens prepares blogs for publication. Faith Tissot is developing web design skills and assisting with the preparation of blogs for publication.
