The Nursology Theory Collective is a group of scholars and students that formed after the landmark conference, “Nursing Theory: A 50 Year Perspective Past and Future”, on March 21-22, 2019 at Case Western Reserve University.
The mission of the Nursology Theory Collective is to advance the discipline of nursing/nursology through equitable and rigorous knowledge development using innovative nursing theory in all settings of practice, education, research, and policy.
What Is Our Focus?
Make nursing theory accessible, practical, and fun.
Help all nurses believe they have a voice and are themselves theorists.
Dismantle systemic norms about nursing and nurses’.
Use our knowledge, privilege, and power to move nursing forward with policy.
Empower the practice and science of nursing.
