Purposes

Mission

The mission of the Society of Rogerian Scholars, Inc., is to advance nursing science through an emphasis on the Science of Unitary Human Beings. The focus of the Society is education, research, and practice in service to humankind.

Published Visions: The Journal of Rogerian Nursing Science as a free-standing journal until 2022; all issues are online and free to all viewers. In January 2023, one “Visions” article is published as a section in Advances in Nursing Science.

The Martha E. Rogers Scholars Fund of the Society of Rogerian Scholars offers two grant opportunities, each for $2000. The awards are for research or clinical practice project in process based in Rogers’ Science of Unitary Human Beings (SUHB). The deadline for the Martha E. Rogers Scholarship is April 1st annually, and for the Elizabeth A. M. Barrett Grant September 1st annually.
